This week some year 10s have been looking at the ceramic work of Courtney Mattison and Diane Lublinski. These have just been completed and now will be fired ready for glazing.
So pleased with them year 10, well done!

Preparation today for the year 10 exam.
Pupils are working on their pencil and printing skills in readiness for the exam tomorrow.

Year 9 war art project is looking great!

We are making great progress with our War art installation project in year 9. 

The little ceramic birds are being oxided today and we are creating lovely art responses to different art installation in sketchbooks. I really looking forward to seeing this project progress.

Studying birds

Year 9 are currently studying birds as a starting point to out war art installation project that is based on a bird. We have been using biro and have shown inspiration from the artist Mark Powell. 

These are really beautiful year 9 well done! 

Again, this is just small sample; all year 9 pupils are currently observing a bird.
