2018 Pottery club

Pottery club started again yesterday.
Lots of year 7's and 8's began their pottery course by making slab fish dishes, really creative use of the clay.
I'm really please to see how well they started the course.
I will upload the outcomes as the get finished.
More to follow.

Exploring poly block printing

Year 8 have been experimenting with printmaking today.
We have used fish as our subject matter and created single and 2 colour prints.
These are a work in progress but looking fantastic so far.
Very well done year 8!

Year 11 clay workshop

Incredible work has been produced over the past 2 days in the art room of Corbet school.
The clay workshop has been going on and pupils have been producing ceramic pieces that can support their portfolios.  This is just a snap shot of work.  Pieces will be completed in lesson time tomorrow.
Thanks to Mrs O'Leary for working with them. I',m so proud of you all year 11! 😍😍
